About
Aaron Alexander
I'm a mechanical engineer, off-road specialist, and founder of Alexander Offroad—a consultancy built to bridge the gap between advanced vehicle engineering and real-world off-road performance.
A graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I spent over 13 years at a major automotive OEM, where I served as a Principal Engineer and Technical Expert in all-wheel-drive powertrain systems. My time there shaped my deep understanding of vehicle dynamics, system integration, and the unique challenges faced in off-road environments.
In 2019, I launched Alexander Offroad with a clear mission: to provide OEM manufacturers with targeted, high-impact solutions across off-road testing, engineering support, vehicle development, and driver education.
As an I4WDTA-certified instructor, experienced professional driver, and passionate outdoorsman, I combine technical insight with hands-on experience. I’ve led trail-based training, supported photo and video shoots, guided product development efforts, and collaborated with engineers and marketing teams to bring off-road capabilities to life.
Whether it's evaluating driveline performance, guiding executive-level test drives, or setting vehicle-level targets for your next platform, I bring a blend of engineering expertise, leadership, and adventure-driven insight to every project.
